How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Delete from the Mobile App
- Open the Munshi-gee mobile app
- Go to Settings or Profile
- Tap on Account Settings
- Select Delete Account
- Confirm your decision
Option 2: Request Deletion via Email
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"
Include the following information:
- Your registered email address or phone number
- Confirmation that you want to delete your account
We will process your request within 7 business days and send you a confirmation email.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Your account profile and login credentials
- All uploaded electricity bills and documents
- Bill analysis reports and history
- Usage patterns and preferences
- Any saved settings or configurations
Data Retention
Please note:
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- Some anonymized data may be retained for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or analytics purposes
- Deletion may take up to 30 days to complete across all systems
- If you have active disputes or legal matters, some data may be retained until resolution
Before You Delete
Consider these alternatives:
- Temporarily disable notifications - You can turn off notifications without deleting your account
- Clear your data - Delete individual bills or reports without removing your account
- Contact support - We're here to help resolve any issues you're experiencing

⚠️ Important Notice
Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all your bill history, reports, and analysis. This action cannot be reversed. Please make sure to download any reports you want to keep before proceeding with deletion.
